The International School Breda (ISB) is a school for expatriate pupils aged 4-18 who have moved temporarily with their families to the Netherlands, or for Dutch citizens who were expats themselves and are returning from abroad. The school was founded in 2011 and provides an international education for a maximum of 370 students. Our school is multi-cultural and multi-national. We support the development of not only English, but also of the students' home languages. All students are also taught Dutch, either at a native level, or as learners of the language.
The secondary department (ages 11-18) follows the curriculum of the International Baccalaureate Organisation and students graduate with an internationally-recognised International Baccalaureate Diploma (which Nuffic equates to the Dutch VWO diploma).
The lower secondary years follow the IB's "Middle Years Programme" and the final two years are the "Diploma Programme". The MYP is an all-inclusive classroom, meaning that pupils of all abilities are in one classroom.
What we look for in an intern is someone who not only has a good level of English, but someone who is passionate about education. If you want to learn how to differentiate in your lessons, then this is the place to come!
Please send your motivation and CV in English for your application.
